Mr. Baxter oversees Raintree’s financing activities including securing bridge and permanent loans for new acquisitions. He is responsible for balance sheet management such as the execution of refinancings and the addition of supplemental loans. He also leads the firm’s due diligence efforts.
Mr. Baxter joined Raintree in 2008 and has been involved in more than $950 million in multifamily acquisitions consisting of 30 properties and more than 4,900 units. Prior to Raintree, he worked as a project manager for The Concord Group, a real estate development consulting firm.
Mr. Baxter holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and psychology from Stanford University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, for which he serves on the Orange County Multi-Housing Initiative Council (MHIC).
