Senior Director of Asset Management
Annette Thurman
Ms. Thurman oversees Raintree’s real estate operations team, consisting of the asset management and capital management functions. She is responsible to lead departmental initiatives, and support and guide operational activities alongside the operations team and third party management groups to drive the overall portfolios year over year performance.
Prior to joining Raintree, Ms. Thurman was Senior Vice President for Alliance Residential Company, responsible for operations of more than 80 assets consisting of nearly 20,000 units. She also served in senior positions at Riverstone Residential and Fairfield Residential.
Ms. Thurman studied Economics at the University of California at Irvine, and is a CCIM candidate. She is also a member of the California Apartment Association (CAA) and National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).
Annette Thurman

Director of Asset Management
Matthew Novobilski
Mr. Novobilski oversees revenue and expense management, ancillary income generation, value-add renovation programs and third-party management companies for Raintree’s existing property portfolio. He is responsible for increasing year-over-year revenue and NOI growth.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Novobilski served as senior managing director of asset management at Kennedy Wilson Multifamily, providing operational oversight of a portfolio of more than 7,800 units. He also served in asset management for Pacific Property Company, overseeing an 8,000-unit portfolio.
Mr. Novobilski earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Texas Tech University and passed the Certified Public Accountant examination. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).

Robynn Wheeler
Ms. Wheeler directs the growth and performance of a diverse portfolio of communities through revenue and expense management, asset redevelopment and oversight of third-party management companies for Raintree's existing property portfolio in the Southern California area.
Prior to joining Raintree, Ms. Wheeler served as Regional Manager for Western National Group, overseeing a portfolio of over 2,500 units. She also served as Regional Manager and Director of Business Development for Alliance Residential Company. She has dedicated the past 20 years of her career in the multifamily industry operating stabilized portfolios, new construction and lease-ups, asset redevelopment and capital enhancements to maximize asset value and return on investment.
Ms. Wheeler studied Biological Sciences at University of California, Santa Cruz, and is a member of the California Apartment Association and National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).
Robynn Wheeler

Kyle Campbell
Mr. Campbell oversees nine Raintree properties, totaling over 1,800 units. He works closely with third-party management and Raintree’s capital projects team to navigate operational challenges, preserve the physical plant, and drive financial growth. He also assists with due diligence, market research, investor reporting, and other portfolio level analysis.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Campbell worked as an analyst for The Bascom Group, underwriting over $4 billion in multifamily acquisitions. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the real estate and financial services sectors.
Mr. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University. He is involved in both the Orange and San Diego County chapters of the Urban Land Institute. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Dana Sohovich
Ms. Sohovich brings nearly 20 years of REIT owner-operator and third-party multi-family management experience to successfully direct the oversight of third-party management companies for a portfolio of Raintree assets.
Prior to joining Raintree, Ms. Sohovich was Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield responsible for operations of more than 70 assets consisting of nearly 13,000 units. She also served as Vice President of Operations/Asset Management at Avenida Partners overseeing a national portfolio of Active Adult 55+ lease-up communities. Ms. Sohovich brings on-site and regional expertise through her previous experience at Avenue5 Residential, Alliance Residential Company and Archstone. Ms. Sohovich earned her Bachelor's Degree in Economics at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and is a California Certified Residential Manager (CCRM).

Financial Analyst | Revenue Manager
Krissie Silver
Ms. Silver supports the firm’s asset management team through financial modeling and analysis, report production, and due diligence. She also oversees the firm’s business intelligence and LRO platforms.
Prior to joining Raintree, Ms. Silver served as a project accountant for Griffith Company, a highway construction business, and managed accounts payable at MPMS, a property management company. She also served in the United States Army as a military police officer.
Ms. Silver holds a Bachelor of Business Administration-Finance from Austin Peay State University and a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.

Hannah Bailey
Ms. Bailey oversees marketing initiatives across the Raintree portfolio to ensure strong leasing performance, positive brand integrity, and superior resident engagement and retention.
Prior to joining Raintree in 2022, Ms. Bailey worked at Greystar as the lead of national new development marketing over their 55+ portfolio. During her time there she gained valuable knowledge on the various needs of an asset through construction, lease-up, and operations.
Ms. Bailey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration from Chapman University in Southern California.

Vice President of Capital Projects
Matthew Westover
Mr. Westover oversees the development and execution of Raintree’s major capital projects and value-add renovation programs. He is responsible for design development, construction, value engineering, project life cycle documents, budgets, physical due diligence and providing a structured forum for communication and interface management.
Prior to joining Raintree in 2016, Mr. Westover served as a construction services manager at Equity Residential (EQR), where he was responsible for CAPEX projects at 28 properties totaling 7,940 units in Southern California and Arizona. During his service at Equity Residential, Mr. Westover also served as renovation services director for the southwestern United States. As the renovation services director, he oversaw the execution of over 5,000 interior unit renovations.

Senior Capital Projects Manager
Michael Barkley
Mr. Barkley is responsible for executing major capital projects throughout the Raintree Portfolio. His focus is asset preservation, capital planning, and due diligence.
Prior to joining Raintree, Michael worked as a Division Manager at Essex Property Trust, where he was responsible for executing capital projects, overseeing the budgeting process, and managing a team of seven project managers. Before this, he spent 22 years at Equity Residential as a Senior Project Manager.

Paul Wolfe
Mr. Wolfe is responsible for executing major capital projects throughout the Raintree Portfolio. His focus is asset preservation, capital planning, and due diligence.
Prior to joining Raintree Partners, Paul worked as a Capital Projects Manager for Greystar Property Management, where he oversaw the capital planning, due diligence, and execution of large projects in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Hawaii, and Southern California. Before Greystar, Mr. Wolfe spent 15 years at Equity Residential on the Facility Operations Team.

Renovation Manager
Vanessa Garzon
Ms. Garzon oversees Raintree Partners’ unit interior value-add program, and is responsible for scope creation, contractor selection, and construction execution. Ms. Garzon’s role has transformed throughout her tenure with Raintree beginning as the Office Manager overseeing day-to-day operations of the company headquarters and transitioning into the Contract Administrator. She also assisted the Development team in supporting the growth of Dana Point’s small businesses from Bear Coast Coffee to Giana Bakery + Provisions. From there, her interest in Raintree’s capital operations grew as she gained familiarity with the industry.
Prior to joining Raintree Partners in 2018, Ms. Garzon gained experience in customer service and office management in various roles, including ones with Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA and an executive suite in Laguna Niguel, CA.

Construction Manager
Tyler Gay
Mr. Gay oversees the management of Raintree’s capital project efforts. He is responsible for managing more than $8 million in capital re-development, including contractor selections, preconstruction, and construction.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Gay served as Service Supervisor at Avenue 5 Residential, where he managed capital projects, service requests, and overall operations. He has held the position of Manager at Malden Station in Fullerton under Lennar, and at Park Viridian Apartments under BRE properties. He is a proud recipient of the “Property of the Year” GEM award for his efforts at Park Viridian.
Tyler Gay

Contract Administrator
Amy Young
Ms. Young oversees the contract management process for Raintree’s unit interior value-add program, capital projects, and development projects. As Contract Administrator, she works closely with Raintree’s Development and Asset Management teams, as well as the Accounting Department.
Prior to joining Raintree, Ms. Young worked as a Contract Administrator for various subcontractors and general contractors. She has experience managing contracts for major construction, renovation, and engineering in both the public and private sectors. Before she began her career as a Contract Administrator, Ms. Young spent ten years working in marketing.
Ms. Young holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from University of California, Riverside. She served as a California Notary Public for eight years.
