Director of Development
Richard Price
Richard Price oversees all phases of Raintree’s development projects, including acquisition, due diligence, entitlement, project design, permitting, construction and operation. He also supports Raintree’s financing and refinancing efforts for both construction and permanent loans on stabilized development projects. To date, Mr. Price has been involved in more than $400 million in development activity.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Price underwrote institutional-size multifamily value-add acquisitions totaling $1.2 billion for Bascom Group and brokered multifamily transactions for ACI Apartments in San Diego, California. Earlier in his career, Mr. Price worked as a CPA for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Price holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Brigham Young University and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a California-licensed real estate broker, a member of Urban Land Institute, ULI Urban Development Mixed Use Product Council (UDMUC), and the ULI NEXT Initiative Council.
Richard Price

Vice President of Development and Director of Retail Leasing
Allen Chuang
Mr. Chuang manages all phases of the development of Raintree’s multifamily communities, overseeing projects through acquisition, entitlement, financing, design, permitting, construction and operations. Mr. Chuang joined the development team after serving as analyst, supporting both the company’s acquisitions and development platforms through financial modeling and analysis, market research, due diligence, and asset management.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Chuang served as an associate in Ernst & Young LLP’s Transaction Real Estate group, where he conducted due diligence associated with portfolio and single-asset transactions, market studies and cash flow analyses for REITs and private equity firms.
Mr. Chuang holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He is a member of Urban Land Institute as well as ULI Young Leaders. Mr. Chuang is a Certified Public Accountant.
Allen Chuang

Vice President of Acquisitions
Mathew Barbiasz
Mr. Barbiasz leads Raintree Partners’ acquisitions platform through financial modeling, analysis, market research and due diligence. He also assists with debt restructuring and portfolio asset management.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Barbiasz served as an analyst for Bascom Group, underwriting $6 billion in multifamily acquisitions. He also worked as capital markets associate with Steadfast Companies. Mr. Barbiasz began his career with Timbers Resorts, a boutique developer of luxury hotels.
Mr. Barbiasz holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Georgetown University where he was a member of their Div. I NCAA varsity football team. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, National Multi Housing Council and a member of Georgetown University’s Steers Center for Global Real Estate.
Mathew Barbiasz

Vice President of Production
Mike George
Mr. George oversees the production of Raintree’s multifamily development efforts. He is responsible for managing more than $250 million in ground-up development, including contractor selections, preconstruction and construction.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. George served as vice president at Archstone, where he managed construction for more than $200 million in multifamily development. Previously, he worked in construction management as a general contractor for Clark Construction Group, and held a development management role at Clark Realty Capital, the company’s development arm. Throughout his career, Mr. George has been responsible for the construction of more than 3,000 multifamily units.
Mr. George holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and is a LEED Green Associate.
Mike George

Production Manager
Nicholas Leone
Serving on Raintree’s development production team, Mr. Leone manages day-to-day construction and design operations and monitors construction for the firm’s development projects. Additionally, Mr. Leone is responsible for managing the value engineering process for development projects to maximize cost savings.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Leone managed multifamily construction production at Thompson Dorfman Partners. He also served as an architect for numerous multifamily repositionings and renovations at McGinnis Chen, a waterproofing firm in San Francisco. Earlier in his career, he was a project manager at Marx Okubo, which performs transactional due diligence.
Mr. Leone holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He is a member of Urban Land Institute, a California-licensed architect and is LEED certified.
Nicholas Leone

Senior Production Manager
David Eldridge
David Eldridge is Senior Production Manager for The Aster development in Long Beach, California, managing day-to-day construction and design operations.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Eldridge served in three positions, including vice president, at Archstone where he was responsible for contractor selections, preconstruction, and construction. Previously, he worked as Director of Construction for Irvine Company on a 9-acre, ground-up apartment development in Playa Vista and on a major apartment renovation in Santa Monica. He also worked at Stratham Homes and Brock Homes. Throughout his career, Mr. Eldridge has been involved with the ground-up construction of 5,437 multifamily units with a total investment value of $1.86 billion.
Mr. Eldridge holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business and management from the University of Redlands, and he is a California State licensed and bonded general contractor.

Dylan Barreira
Mr. Barreira supports all phases of Raintree’s multifamily development projects, including acquisition, entitlement, financing, design, permitting, construction, and operations. Mr. Barreira joined the development team after serving as an analyst, supporting the firm’s acquisitions and development platforms through financial modeling and analysis, market research, and due diligence.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Barreira worked as an Acquisitions Analyst at TruAmerica Multifamily, where he underwrote over $3 billion in multifamily acquisition opportunities and coordinated due diligence efforts on 3 closed transactions, totaling over $200 million. Mr. Barreira also worked as a Geomatics E.I.T., Business Development Manager, and Operations Manager for OGL Engineering, an aerial survey and GIS company based in Calgary, AB.
Mr. Barreira holds a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Dylan Barreira

Senior Real Estate Analyst
Adam Cornejo
Mr. Cornejo supports the firm's acquisitions platform through financial modeling and analysis, market research, and due diligence.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Cornejo worked as an underwriter at JPMorgan, where he underwrote transactions with loan proceeds totaling over $3B. Additionally, he was responsible for a $1.3B portfolio encompassing construction loans, term loans, structured revolving facilities, and subscription facilities.
Mr. Cornejo graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a member of Brigham Young University’s Young Professional Advisory Council, the Urban Land Institute, and ULI Young Leaders.
Adam Cornejo

Real Estate Analyst
Konnor Orlin
Mr. Orlin supports the firm's acquisitions and development platforms through financial modeling and analysis, market research, and due diligence.
Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Orlin interned as a Research Analyst for John Burns Real Estate Consulting, where he analyzed housing data and prepared monthly market reports for eight California metros. He first gained exposure to the industry as a Land Acquisition Intern for Province Group, a residential developer based in Newport Beach, CA.
Mr. Orlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and ULI Young Leaders.
